Mike Young is Founder and Executive Director of Noble Warriors, a ministry that serves churches in the area of men’s discipleship. Noble Warriors seeks to ENGAGE, EQUIP and ENCOURAGE churches as they ENGAGE, EQUIP & ENCOURAGE their men to walk with Christ and lead their families.
Originally from Suffolk, Virginia, Mike is a graduate of the College of William & Mary and George Mason University. Actively involved in church life since childhood, he made a profession of faith and was baptized at the age of 13.
As an adult Mike has served as Sunday school teacher, youth leader, deacon and small group coordinator. Professionally he has been a high school science teacher, an assistant principal and a custom home builder. While working in the field of education, he coached football and soccer and helped start two FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athlete) huddles.
Mike met his wife, Stacy, when they were summer missionaries at a Christian camp. Their camp romance blossomed into a lifelong marriage commitment (20 years so far!) and four children.
In 2005 God made it clear to Mike and his family that their collective life experiences had simply been preparation for a call to ministry; specifically a call to men’s ministry. Noble Warriors is the result of that call.
Mike Young frequently speaks at conferences, seminars, and retreats for men, women, couples and youth.
