It’s not uncommon for Stacy and I to look at each other in early January and say, “What just happened?” We’ve survived Thanksgiving, Christmas and the New Year and feel like we were run over by a train. As individuals and a family, we spent too much money, ate too much, experienced some fun family moments but also some awkward moments AND we really don’t feel like Christ was honored and God glorified in our celebrations.
The problem is that after the fact, all you can do is look back and hope to do better next time. What we really need is to be reminded on the front end, to be intentional and specific to maximize the holidays with your family and honor Christ. In an effort to help men be proactive we developed a series of blog posts and suggestion cards to help men lead well during this season.
