It’s hard to believe but 10 years ago I heard about the National Coalition of Ministries to Men on American Family Radio. I was intrigued by the idea of men who were sold out on a commitment to invest in the spiritual growth and health of other men. I came home that day and told Stacy that I had to go to the conference I heard about on the radio. Thankfully, she agreed.
So, in October of 2004 I attended my first NCMM conference. I was hooked and I haven’t looked back. The Holy Spirit was already working on men and at this event he clarified a calling in my life and connected me with men who I now call not just colleagues but friends and brothers in ministry. Men, if you know God has something specific for you to do in the world of ministry to men, prayerfully commit to join me and a couple hundred other men for our annual conference in Little Rock.
I’m looking forward to being encouraged and challenged by Robert Lewis, Bryan Carter and Dennis Rainey. I also expect to be sharpened as I spend time with other men from across the country who are committed to investing strategically and intentionally in other men. Check out this link to learn more. Let me know if you’re interested in or planning to attend. I may be able to help with group registration pricing. (BTW… there are a few small scholarships available through NCMM to help with some of the cost.)
