The Power of the Project
Prior to the Industrial Revolution, most sons worked with their dads day in and day out on the family farm or in the family business. The advent of factories and assembly lines took men away from home for the greater part of the day. Dad’s returned to their families tired and empty, life and energy had been drained from him by the company.
The effects of this culture change continue to haunt families today. Many men spend their better hours away from their families; giving most of their energy, creativity and even their joy to an individual or organization that writes a paycheck.
Do you feel this in your life? I know that I do…. and I’m in full time ministry. But, I think there are some solutions.
