The Power of the Project

Prior to the Industrial Revolution, most sons worked with their dads day in and day out on the family farm or in the family business. The advent of factories and assembly lines took men away from home for the greater part of the day. Dad’s returned to their families tired and empty, life and energy had been drained from him by the company.

The effects of this culture change continue to haunt families today. Many men spend their better hours away from their families; giving most of their energy, creativity and even their joy to an individual or organization that writes a paycheck.

Do you feel this in your life? I know that I do…. and I’m in full time ministry. But, I think there are some solutions. One great idea is to invest yourself in some specific ‘projects’ with your kids. For some of you, this will be easy but for others it will be a challenge. Let me help. (Click here to continue).

LifeWay Men’s Resources

Regardless of whether you are a man looking for a resource to help with personal growth or a leader looking for resources for your men’s ministry, I want to encourage you to check out Lifeway Men (click here for website and here for Facebook page).   Jason Ellerbrook, LifeWay Men Director, is a friend of Noble Warriors and is working with leaders, ministers and authors across the country to provide great resources for churches who are serious about reaching men.

Here are just a few examples of the resources they offer:

  • Game Plan for Life – a simulcast from the JGR shop in Charlotte NC on May 26th.
