Workshop Highlight: Aaron Titko, CRU Military

The Noble Man Tidewater Conference is approaching FAST! We only have a few more workshop presenters to introduce you to then it will be conference day before you know it!

Our next workshop presenter is Aaron Titko. Aaron is with CRU Military and is passionate and ready to share the Gospel with those in the military.

“CRU Military is passionate about bringing the gospel to the men and women of the world’s military. No one should ever go into combat without having the opportunity of knowing Jesus Christ”

Aaron remember’s that some of the most memorable times he was discipled was in the military during Operation Iraqi Freedom II.

“Chaplain Randy Brandt was my pastor during OIF2 and has been a close mentor since then. His guidance has helped make me the man I am today.”

As far as reading, Aaron says his favorite book to recommend to people is the Transferable Concepts series from CRU. He’s currently reading unChristian: What a New Generation Really Thinks about Christianity…and Why It Matters by David Kinnaman and Gabe Lyons

“We need to do a better job as Christians in loving people where they are at and loving them unconditionally.”

When we asked Aaron who the hero was in his life, he said he never actually had one hero.

“But I have served with them, however, there are several men whom I am close to who have been instrumental in developing me into the man I am today.”

The man he most identifies with in the Bible is Joseph, because Joseph’s quiet tenacity and willingness to be used by God inspires him.

And for the verse that is speaking to him right now… Philippians 4:6.

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.” (ESV)
